The Sujan Group’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1977. The Sujan Brothers and J K Vasdani set up a small moulding shop. Resources and funds were limited and they had only each other to depend on. However, they had passion and determination to make their venture succeed and saw potential in the rubber industry.
In 1982, the Group became an ancillary to a few well known automotive companies. This led to the establishment of individual facilities to develop compounds, make rubber extrusion products and most importantly, design and develop new products.
To provide top class quality and reliability, in-house testing facilities were required, and the Sujan Group made the investments so that products could meet with world standards. The Sujan brothers’ philosophy of hard work combined with technical expertise and the pursuit of high quality has ensured that the Group has always been ahead of the curve, influencing developments in rubber and polymer technology in Indian industry.

Sujan Industries is the Group’s flagship company. Other group companies include Polyrub Extrusions, Polyrub CooperStandard, Mega Rubber Technologies, Mega Hefa Emissions Technology and Polyrub Plastics.
Today, the Sujan Group caters to 9 domains: Automotive ( two-wheeler, four-wheelers and heavy duty vehicles) Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Railways, Defence, Industrial applications and Agricultural applications.

In the automotive domain, the Group’s customer base include Maruti Suzuki, Renault-Nissan, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, GM, Tesla, BMW AG, Fiat Chrysler Automotive and Tata Motors (passenger cars). It has added several new customers including Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors, and Volkswagen India.
Its customers also include Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Triumph, TVS, Hero Group, Yamaha and Harley-Davidson. In Tier 1s, customers include Tenneco, Munjal Showa, Mahle, Valeo and others. Non-auto clients include Honeywell, Bharat Earth Movers, Hindustan Aeronautics and Larsen & Toubro.
The Sujan Group employs close to 3,000 people across 9 facilities in the major industrial and automotive hubs of the country. We are never far from our customers.
